I'm Stepheni Mendez — a designer, AI strategist, and founder with 20+ years building brands and products that actually work for the people using them.
I've led design at agencies and enterprise tech companies, built products from scratch at startups, and spent the last few years at the intersection of AI and human-centered design — including co-founding Maia, a women's health platform I'm building the front end of myself, using the same AI-powered methodology I bring to every Scrappy Sparrow client.
That's where Scrappy Sparrow came from. Not from a gap in the market — from a genuine belief that small business owners, especially women and underrepresented founders, deserve access to the same tools, the same design quality, and the same AI literacy that well-funded companies take for granted.
